This work intends to deepen the sensitive territorial understanding of the region between the neighborhoods of Barra Funda, Santa Cecília and Campos Elíseos through the cartography method. The research maps the material and human potentialities of the territory in question.

Sensitive Cartography is comprehended as the experience developed in the mapped territory, based on the ability to trigger readings and interpretations of social realities through cultural, artistic and occupational practices. These combined actions articulate the investigative and corporal scope by the mapping, observation and perception of the territory. The superimposed reading of information creates flows between the visible and the invisible, a map of experimentation and interpretation of day-by-day reality that operates in a field both local and global, real and virtual simultaneously.

Finally, this essay also investigates a proposal for prototypes that consist of two types of supports: Devices and Condensers. These prototypes are treated in an articulated way and act in the territory respecting the existing dynamics, the daily narratives and the physical conditions registered by the cartographies.

Through nomadic logic, assembly / disassembly, flexibility of configurations and uses, the project meets the movements and transformations of the territory. This guarantees a significant amount of public spaces and cultural, educational, sports and commercial programs spread throughout the studied territory.
