The Final Graduation Work, entitled Subtle Substances Through Architecture - Interventions in female-headed houses in the Historic Center of Salvador with collective work in Architecture and Urbanism, focuses on the subtle way of seeing the city as this rich construction of everyday life and the materiality as something big and substantial, to paraphrase the book “Lina Bo Bardi: Subtle Substances of Architecture”. This work, despite being within the theme of graduation in Architecture and Urbanism, also seeks to recognize contributions outside this area, improving upon practical, multi and interdisciplinary experiences coming, mainly, from the powerful extension of the public university. Starting from listening and recognizing the construction of a plural city, it seeks to protagonize the feminine gender and vulnerable central urban territories, and then think about making architecture as one of the thousands tools of this making city.
