In contemporary times, education in Architecture and Urbanism must combine technical training with the scientific and critical reasoning needed to solve old and new problems, in an inter and transdisciplinary way, training professionals able to work in a unique, complex, and diverse world.

The Course Pedagogical Project presented, poses the challenge of a participatory and interactive teaching and learning among its agents, students, teachers, and society. Based on the approximation, intersection and fusion of the “little boxes”, a comprehensive course design is achieved, guiding the experience in student training processes in a technical-scientific political being.

From the stiffened grid constituted by the old and sectioned departments and their disciplines, the mesh built by (i) agglutinating axes, without defined limits, which favors the intersection of contents and knowledge; (ii) integrated ateliers and studios mixing different contents, approaches, and practices; (iii) and transversal crossing axes, and events that sew and promote new forms of knowledge production. In this context, new student attitudes flourish, which advocate a more active role in the collective construction of the School, within a general framework in permanent transformation, with contexts that change quickly and in a single, diverse world, in which technology and imbalances, social and environmental, are a constant and changing theme.
