This works consists in a proposal for a harbor in the extreme south of São Paulo, harbor intended as capillary infrastructure part of the major system of the Metropolitan Waterways Ring, studied by Grupo Metrópole Fluvial.

The specific focus is the transportation of the agricultural products, with effect the project is in the district of Parelheiros, an area with strong rural features, where are present many Units of Agricultural Production, mapped by the project Ligue os Pontos by the municipality.

The specific location is in Jardim Santa Terezinha neighborhood, at the end of the Taquacetuba lake arm of Billings dam (home of a pioneer waterway purposed by Grupo Metrópole Fluvial), next to the slum of Vargem Grande in the Colonia crater.

The function of transportation of agricultural products and passengers aim to give a better accessibility to the extreme south, nowadays not well served by public transports and with a road mobility slow and difficult.

Furthermore, the project includes experimental productive areas: such as hydroponic, aeroponic, aquaponic agriculture, roof gardening and food forest, and social and cultural hubs, taking shape in this way as a new centrality for the local communities, culturally, economically, educationally, and a reference point for the whole southern metropolitan region.
